Here at Brig, we like to support our local bands. Especially when those local bands happen to have a Stirling University student as a member. Blank Canvas is just that band. The band have been nominated for an opportunity to win 30 hours worth of recording time with Dixon Studios and we want you all to vote for them.
Edinburgh based four-piece, Blank Canvas, have gained fans having played King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, the T-break stage at T in the Park and most recently at The Tolbooth during the ReLoaded festival earlier this month. Elements of dreampop combined with sweet, indie melodic guitars and bass make this band a must listen. Think a Friendly Fires sound, with Morrissey-esque vocals.
Check them out here and if you like their sound (which we’re sure you will) vote for them to win the studio time at: http://datasheep.co.uk/poll/. Voting closes on 5 November, so make sure you get clicking before then.
